YEREVAN, August 13. /ARKA/.Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook have again  topped the Forbes’ 2020 list of the 100 most valuable brands. Forbes listed Apple as the world’s most valuable brand – valued at $241.2 billion.

Apple is followed by Google ($207.5 billion), Microsoft ($162.9 billion), Amazon ($135.4 billion) and Facebook ($70.3 billion). Coca Cola ($64.4 billion), Disney ($61.3 billion), Samsung ($50.4 billion), Louis Vuitton ($47.2 billion) and McDonald’s ($46.1 billion)  rounded off the top ten most valuable brands.

Forbes’ annual list of the World’s Most Valuable Brands—which looks at the top 100 companies from fiscal year 2019—shows that some of the biggest winners during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic have been on top since the close of last year. Companies including Amazon, Netflix and PayPal all show substantial gains in brand value since last year’s list, falling in line with trends related to e-commerce, streaming and digital payments.

However, there are some newcomers. Brands like Nintendo, Burger King, Hennessy and AXA, for example, all made their way onto the ranking, while Philips, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Nissan and Kellogg’s were knocked off. -0-
