The RA Ministry of Economy intends to develop IT sector in three directions by means of World Bank grant to the amount of $1mln, said Economy Minister Nerses Yeritsyan.
YEREVAN, December 24. /ARKA/. The RA Ministry of Economy intends to develop IT sector in three directions by means of World Bank grant to the amount of $1mln, said Economy Minister Nerses Yeritsyan.
“The programs, which will be developed for two or three months, can attract large investments, including in forming innovational infrastructures,” he told reporters on Wednesday.
Yeritsyan noted the investments will be used to transform Gyumri to “a high-tech city”.
“Politics and Human Resources Development (PHRD) grant was provided by the World Bank under Improvement of Competitiveness of Technologies program which is mainly aimed at development of infrastructures, content and innovations. –0--
