09.02.2011, 02:09
On Tuesday, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, asked by ARKA News Agency correspondent about the alleged discord with Grand Holding, said he had no any controversy with this company.

YEREVAN, February 8. /ARKA/. On Tuesday, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, asked by ARKA News Agency correspondent about the alleged discord with Grand Holding, said he had no any controversy with this company.

Earlier, Zhamanak opposition newspaper said that Hrant Vardanyan, head of Grand Holding Company, intended to move his business to Georgia because of his tense relations with Tigran Sargsyan and Gagik Khachatryan, chairman of the State Revenue Committee.

The premier said it would be better to point out at least one particular case – what businessman stopped doing business in Armenia and moved it to Georgia.

“If such cases exist, we ought to investigate them to see causes that forced them into such a step,” he said.

Sargsyan said Armenian entrepreneurs built up and expanded their businesses.

According to Novoe Vremya daily, the company’s press office denied the allegation as well. The newspaper says the company intends to make an appropriate statement soon.-0--
