Retail trade turnover increased by 0.8% in 2010 in Armenia versus 2009 with average growth of 5.6% in CIS countries, CIS Statistic Committee informs.
YEREVAN, February 10. /ARKA/. Retail trade turnover increased by 0.8% in 2010 in Armenia versus 2009 with average growth of 5.6% in CIS countries, CIS Statistic Committee informs.
By this indicator Armenia is in penultimate place among CIS countries.
The highest growth of retail trade turnover is registered in Belarus – 17.5%, Turkmenistan – 16.5%, Uzbekistan (without turnover of food production companies)- 14.7%, Kazakhstan – 12.3%, Tajikistan – 10.3%, Moldova (without calculation of sales of markets) – 8.9%, Azerbaijan – 8.8%, Ukraine – 7.6% and Russia – 4.4%. Decline of 2.5% is registered in Kyrgyzstan. --0—
