PROFAL's investment in a new glass processing plant in Armenia has exceeded $20 million, according to the Ministry of Economy.
YEREVAN, September 4. /ARKA/. PROFAL's investment in a new glass processing plant in Armenia has exceeded $20 million, according to the Ministry of Economy.
On September 3, Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan visited the new facility of the company, which produces aluminum doors and windows.
According to the ministry, the total area of the plant is 120,000 square meters, 17,000 square meters of which are allocated for glass production and storage. After the plant is commissioned, it is planned to increase production space to over 40,000 square meters per month.
As part of state support, seven leasing agreements were signed, for which the state subsidized interest rates by 227.296 million drams. The company's products are sold domestically and exported, in particular, to France, the UK, and the US.
"It's important for us to create modern enterprises with high productivity and export potential in Armenia. The example of PROFAL demonstrates that a combination of state support and private investment allows us to expand production capacity, create jobs, and more actively promote Armenian products in international markets," said Papoyan.
PROFAL has been operating in the Armenian market for approximately 25 years. According to the Ministry of Economy, the company has implemented over 30,000 projects in Armenia and abroad, collaborated with over 10,000 local and international partners, and employs over 500 people.
