Alex Albon to open Gulf gas stations in Armenia
YEREVAN, December 4. /ARKA/. Famous Formula 1 driver Alex Albon has announced the imminent launch of a network of American Gulf gas stations in Armenia.
"Hello, Armenia! I’m racing driver Alex Albon, and it’s great to hear that such an iconic global brand as Gulf will be represented in Armenia. This is fantastic news! I wish you all the best, and remember, together we are unstoppable," Albon said in his video.
Gulf Oil is an international oil company founded in 1901 in the United States. It was one of the world’s largest oil monopolies in the mid-20th century and was part of the "Seven Sisters" — the seven largest oil companies globally.
In 1984, Gulf Oil was acquired by Chevron, which still owns the brand. The Gulf network of gas stations includes over 2,500 stations in the United States and more than 1,000 stations in other countries worldwide.
