Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Italy's ambassador to Armenia Alessandro Ferranti looked today into the chances of expanding trade and economic relations as well as  developing  cooperation in tourism and other areas.

YEREVAN, February 17. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Italy's ambassador to Armenia Alessandro Ferranti looked today into the chances of expanding trade and economic relations as well as developing cooperation in tourism and other areas.

According to the press service of the government, the ambassador emphasized that he will do his best to give a new push to the bilateral ties.

According to Armstat, the trade turnover between Armenia and Italy in 2024 amounted to $421.4 million with a 0.9% growth compared to 2023.

Armenian exports amounted to $67.1 million (up 4.8%), while imports by exporting country to $344.3 million (up 7.1%), and by producing country to $354.3 million (up 0.2%). -0-
