YEREVAN, July 10. /ARKA/. On Friday, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan discussed the implementation of Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) with Fabrizio Zarcone, World Bank Country Manager for Armenia, the Ministry of Economy press service reported.
The parties emphasized the importance of the initiative for tourism development and the modernization of regional infrastructure, agreeing to continue close cooperation to ensure the effective and timely implementation of the planned activities.
The TRIP program envisages investments of €120 million for the development of tourism clusters in Goris, Areni, Jermuk, Yeghegis, Dvin, Gyumri, and Dilijan. The program's goal is to stimulate the development of wine, resort, adventure, cultural, educational, and ecotourism, increasing Armenia's tourism attractiveness and the competitiveness of its regions.
