Armenia's state budget revenues increased by 1.3 trillion drams in 2024 - Pashinyan

YEREVAN, April 15. /ARKA/. According to the results for 2024, Armenia’s state budget revenues have doubled, recording an increase of 1.3 trillion drams, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in parliament on Tuesday.
“In dollar terms, this amounts to over $3.3 billion. In other words, in 2024 alone, Armenia’s budget received an additional $3.3 billion. Since 2018, state budget revenues have consistently grown, and no one can deny this,” Pashinyan said during discussions on the 2024 implementation report of the government’s 2021-2026 program.
According to him, between 2018 and 2024, more than 1.684 trillion drams or about $4.2 billion in additional budget revenues were generated.
“This figure does not include the state debt or the funds from the “Hayastan All-Armenian Fund” in 2020. We are talking about pure, revolutionary budget revenue,” Pashinyan noted.
According to Armenia’s Ministry of Finance, by the end of 2024, the execution of the state budget reached 95.8% on the revenue side and 93.9% on the expenditure side. The revised targets of the country’s main financial document projected revenues of over 2.72 trillion drams (approximately $6.9 billion) and expenditures of nearly 3.18 trillion drams.
As of the end of 2024, the national debt stood at around 5.093 trillion drams (about $12.8 billion), which is equivalent to 48.3% of the country’s GDP.
