Consumer prices in Armenia rose 0.3% in August 2013, compared with the previous month, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.
YEREVAN, August 30. /ARKA/. Consumer prices in Armenia rose 0.3% in August 2013, compared with the previous month, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.
In August, compared with July, foods, alcoholic drinks and tobacco products became one percent cheaper, while prices for nonfoods went 0.1% percent up, and services prices leapt 2.6 percent.
Consumer price index in August 2013, compared with August 2012, was 109.3%. The index of prices for foods, alcoholic drinks and tobacco products was 109.6% and that of nonfood prices 104.3%. the Index of prices for services was 111.2%.
In the 2013 government budget, inflation is projected at 4% (±1.5%). ---0---
