YEREVAN, September 29. / ARKA /. Armenian territorial minister Armen Gevorkyan traveled Friday to Alaverdi in northern Armenia to attend the opening of a municipal landfill built for solid waste.

The territorial ministry said the total cost of the project was 151.4 million drams. The construction of the landfill in the area of 4.6 hectares was launched in November 2011.

The landfill is designed for several decades and may take in yearly 3,500-3,800 cubic meters of waste. ($ 1 - 405.39 drams).-0-
