It was a success, Nagorno-Karabakh minister of agriculture Andranik Khachatryan said.
“The principle of “two combiners per combine” will allow us harvesting in two shifts. In the near future we will try to do it as technical qualifications of the new German grain harvester combines makes it possible to collect crops at nighttime”, Khachatryan said.
The head of the ministry of agriculture said there is more than 29,000 hectares of winter wheat seeded fields in the country and over 20,000 barley-seeded hectares.
As of June 19, winter barley crops were collected from over 11,000 hectares with average yield per hectare reaching 17 centners.
Winter wheat crops have been already collected from about 3,500 hectares; average yield per hectare is 18-18.5 centners, the minister said. –0--
