The trade turnover between Armenia and Kazakhstan exceeded $100 million in 2023 , Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan said today.

YEREVAN, April 9. /ARKA/. The trade turnover between Armenia and Kazakhstan exceeded $100 million in 2023 , Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan said today.

"The presence of high potential of interaction is evidenced by the data of the Armenian Statistical Committee, according to which the trade turnover between Armenia and Kazakhstan amounted to $104 million in 2023, having increased 2.4 times compared to 2020," Papoyan said speaking at the Armenian-Kazakh business forum in Yerevan.

He expressed confidence that the activation of bilateral cooperation will allow to significantly increase this figure.

According to the Armenian National Statistical Committee, exports from Armenia to Kazakhstan in 2023 grew 3.8 times to $71.32 million, while imports increased by 23.6% to $29.2 million. -0-
