Armenia interested in development of cooperation with Hungary – president
YEREVAN, April 9. /ARKA/. Armenia is interested in development of Armenian-Hungarian relations, said RA President Serzh Sargsyan accepting credentials from newly appointed Ambassador of Hungary to Armenia (residence in Tbilisi) Gabor Shagin, the presidential press-service reported.
President Sargsyan congratulated the diplomat with appointment to the office and expressed hope the Ambassador will do his best to contribute to development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to Sargsyan Armenian-Hungarian relations have always had a friendly nature, and their activation in the recent years will create new preconditions for development of bilateral cooperation.
The sides agreed there are good bases for intensifying mutual relations.
The newly appointed Ambassador stressed Hungary intends to improve cooperation with Armenia, on both bilateral and multilateral levels and is already assisting the initiative of Eastern Partnership.
According to the Ambassador, the Hungarian side considers the upcoming visit of Sargsyan to Hungary a good spur of development of bilateral relations. G. S. –0--
