From November 30, 2010, the company “All Media” launched a new Internet project – the first news aggregator www.mediagid.am in Armenia.
Index of popularity is formed on the basis of the aggregator of news received from the partner-sites where the names of Armenian politicians, representatives of show-business, sportsmen and the names of the companies are mentioned.
“Citation rating in May showed that by mentioning of Armenian mass media, the most popular politician was Serzh Sargsyan who occupies the first line of rating (535 mentioning) and in the last six months he keeps the leadership among the most cited politicians”, said Martirosyan.
Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan, President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan and Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan are within the first group of five.
Amnestied oppositionists Nikol Pashinyan and Sasun Mikayelyan are within the first group of ten.
Mobile operator VivaCell-MTS (69 mentioning), Stock Exchange NASDAQ OMX Armenia, communication company ArmenTel (brand Beeline), Ameriabank and the company “Kotayk” occupy leading positions.
The first group of five of the most popular representatives of show-business includes the singer Andre, singer Emmi, famous chansonnier Charles Aznavour, producer Harutyun Khachatryan and composer Edward Mirzoyan.
