The high-level dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia will help strengthen the trust and mutual understanding and give a positive impetus to the peace process, the statement says as reported Novosti-Armenia referring to RIA Novosti.
Ukraine confirms its readiness to further assist Azerbaijan and Armenia, through OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, in maintaining regular dialogue to reach a comprehensive peaceful settlement based on the international law, according to the statement.
The closed meeting of the two presidents held in Vienna was the first over the last two years. Aliev-Sargsyan negotiations took two hours and the mediators joined them afterwards. After the meeting OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs made a statement saying presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed to give an impetus to further negotiations to reach a peaceful settlement and instructed their foreign ministers to continue efforts to intensify the peace process, according to the report. –0--
