Another Artsakh army soldier killed in Azerbaijani shelling

Karen Danielyan, a serviceman, 20, died today at 07:20 AM from a gunshot wound on a defense section of one of Artsakh (Karabakh) army’s units, the press office of the Artsakh Republic’s defense ministry reports.

STEPANAKERT, May 20. /ARKA/. Karen Danielyan, a serviceman, 20, died today at 07:20 AM from a gunshot wound on a defense section of one of Artsakh (Karabakh) army’s units, the press office of the Artsakh Republic’s defense ministry reports.
An investigation was launched to clear up all the circumstances of his death.
The defense ministry offered its condolences to the killed serviceman’s family, relatives and friends.
According to the ministry’s press release, Azerbaijani troops have breached the ceasefire on the line of contact between Artsakh (Karabakh) and Azerbaijani armed forces around 100 times over the past night by firing more than 1,750 shots at Karabakh positions.
On the eastern section of the contact line they also used an anti-tank grenade launcher (32 shells) and on the north-eastern section a 60-mm mortar (7 shells).
The Karabakh army resorted to return fire to suppress the assault. ---0---
