Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and US acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Derek Hogan discussed in Washington D.C. the status of Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations on signing a peace treaty.
YEREVAN, July 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and US acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Derek Hogan discussed in Washington D.C. the status of Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations on signing a peace treaty.
In a Facebook post Grigoryan said Derek Hogan and he discussed also regional security issues, as well as the creation of an international mechanism to facilitate a dialogue between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan and ensuring the rights and security of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The meeting took place on July 5 as part of Grigoryan's visit to Washington. -0-
