Armenia's defense ministry strongly condemns Azerbaijani authorities' aggressive and unwarrantable decision to launch military assaults, the press office of the ministry reports.
YEREVAN, April 2. /ARKA/. Armenia's defense ministry strongly condemns Azerbaijani authorities' aggressive and unwarrantable decision to launch military assaults, the press office of the ministry reports.
Azerbaijani troops undertook massive offensives Friday night on south-eastern and north-eastern sections of the Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line with using artillery, armored vehicles and air forces.
Karabakh troops shot down an Azerbaijani military helicopter, and Azerbaijanis withdrew with taking a heavy toll.
In its press release, the defense ministry attracts attention of the international community and especially the OSCE Minsk Group to the current situation and expects an immediate targeted interference for controlling things in order to prevent large-scale military actions. --0---
