YEREVAN, June 26. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan congratulated Swiss politician Alain Berset on becoming the new Secretary General of the Council of Europe.

“Warmest congratulations to Alain Berset, the newly elected Council of Europe Secretary General. We look forward to working closely to further strengthen the Council of Europe in these troubled times based on shared values of human rights, rule of law & democracy. You can count on Armenia’s support in this important mission,” Mirzoyan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
