Armenia will apply to ECHR to demand Azerbaijan restore property rights of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians

YEREVAN, November 24. /ARKA/. Armenia will apply to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to demand that Azerbaijan restore the property rights of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Armenians, who fled their homeland after massive Azerbaijani offensive on September 19-20, the office of the Armenian representative on international legal issues reported.
"Armenia intends to make an addition to the 4th interstate complaint against Azerbaijan filed with the ECHR regarding the restoration of property rights of persons forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh," the office's spokeswoman Hasmik Samvelyan told Armenian Public Television.
She noted that the supplemented complaint, which will be submitted in the coming months is about a long string of cases that were reported in Lachin corridor, such as violations of rights of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians due to blocking of the corridor. --0--
