Armenia denies Azerbaijani allegation about firing on its positions

YEREVAN, July 4. /ARKA/. The Armenian Defense Ministry refuted Azerbaijani statements claiming that the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of Azerbaijani positions in the late hours of July 3.

"The statements disseminated by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry alleging that Armenian troops fired in the direction of Azerbaijani positions on the eastern part of Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the late hours of July 3 is not true," the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry informed.

The Armenian Defense Ministry stressed that the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and under the full control of the Armenian Armed Forces. -0-
