Government names Merop Mesropyan as head of PSRC

The Armenian government nominated Merop Mesrop Mesropian to head the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) at a session on Thursday. His nomination is to be approved by the parliament.

YEREVAN, 7 November. /ARKA/. The Armenian government nominated Merop Mesrop Mesropian to head the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) at a session on Thursday. His nomination is to be approved by the parliament.
The post became vacant after the resignation of Garegin Baghramyan on 10 October 2024.
Mesrop Mesropyan graduated from the National Polytechnic University, specialising in research engineering. He worked at Hrazdan Power Plant, Armenenergo, ArmRosgazprom, Redinet telecommunication company, and was Director of the Settlement Centre.
In 2019-2020, he was a member of PSRC. From 2020 to 2021, he served as Governor of the Kotayk region of Armenia.-0-
