YEREVAN, September 16. /ARKA/. The Constitutional Court of Armenia has ruled that the TRIPP agreement complies with the Constitution of Armenia, the Public Television of Armenia reports.

According to the official ruling of the highest court, the obligations enshrined in the Framework Agreement on Strategic Partnership between Armenia and the United States regarding the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project comply with the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia.

The case was heard in writing. Judge Edgar Shatiryan served as the rapporteur.

The Foreign Relations Department of the Constitutional Court of the Public Television of Armenia reported that the full text of the decision will be published within three days.

The Armenian government appealed to the Constitutional Court in July to determine the agreement's compliance with the Constitution. Following the Constitutional Court's ruling, the agreement will be sent to the National Assembly for final ratification in accordance with established procedures.
