Erdogan and Pashinyan may have a meeting in Prague

YEREVAN, September 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may have a meeting in Prague, spokesperson of Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan told Armenpress.
Earlier, Erdogan said he may travel to the Czech Republic to attend a European Political Community meeting and ' presumably Pashinyan may also be there and perhaps we may have an opportunity to discuss all the issues there'.
"A meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during an event in Prague is not ruled out. At the moment, however, such a meeting has not been confirmed. We will promptly inform the public if such meeting is confirmed," Hunanyan said.
In a telephone call with Erdogan on July 11, 2022 Nikol Pashinyan congratulated the Turkish President on Kurban Bayram, and the latter congratulated the Prime Minister on the upcoming Vardavar-Feast of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ.
According to the Armenian government’s statement, the leaders emphasized the importance they attach to the bilateral normalization process between their respective countries which will also contribute to the strengthening of peace and stability in the region.-0-
