Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has appointed Nerses Ter-Vardanyan as deputy culture minister, the government’s press office reports.
YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has appointed Nerses Ter-Vardanyan as deputy culture minister, the government’s press office reports.
Ter-Vardanyan, 32, is a specialist in oriental science with Yerevan State University and Armenian Oriental Institute diplomas and PhD degree. He has been retrained in state administration in Boston.
From 1999 till 2003, Ter-Vardanyan worked at the Armenian Society for Cultural Ties with Foreign Countries. He has also been the head of the Dialogue of Cultures information center.
From 2010 till 2013, he worked as coordinator of Armenian programs of the International Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation of CIS Countries, and from 2006 till 2014 he was the Armenian culture minister's advisor. Not a member of any party and not married. -0----
