New Armenian Ambassador to Russia submits credentials, discusses bilateral relations
YEREVAN, September 12. /ARKA/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin received the copies of credentials from Armenia's newly appointed ambassador to Russia, Gurgen Arsenyan. The two officials discussed the current state and future prospects of Armenian-Russian relations, as well as upcoming high-level visits.
Galuzin extended his best wishes to Arsenyan for a successful diplomatic mission in Moscow. According to Armenia’s embassy in Russia, Ambassador Arsenyan emphasized the importance of steadily advancing the historically friendly relations between Armenia and Russia for the benefit of both nations.
Arsenyan expressed hope that during his tenure, the embassy will continue to receive support and cooperation from Russian authorities. Following the submission of his credentials to Russia's Foreign Ministry, Arsenyan is now officially assuming his duties as ambassador. He will present his credentials to Russian President Vladimir Putin at an upcoming ceremony for newly appointed ambassadors.
