Papoyan discussed new trade opportunities with Turkish Minister of Agriculture

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli in Istanbullast Saturday, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy reported.
YEREVAN, December 1. /ARКА/. Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli in Istanbullast Saturday, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy reported.
"The parties discussed the possibility of resuming the Kars-Gyumri railway line, as well as new economic, logistical, and trade opportunities for the two countries opening up within the TRIPP project. During the conversation, they discussed opportunities for market diversification, the development of new logistics routes, and the expansion of mutual economic interests," the ministry’s statement read.
The ministers emphasized the importance of regular Armenian-Turkish contacts and reaffirmed their readiness to continue the dialogue. The Turkish minister praised Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's recent visit to Turkey, noting its positive impact on the development of bilateral relations.
