YEREVAN, September 11. /ARKA/. During a telephone conversation on Friday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the importance of taking consistent steps to expand trade and economic ties.

According to the government press service, the two discussed the further advancement of Armenian-Uzbek relations and the bilateral agenda, and exchanged views on regional processes, including the work being done to unblock communications.

According to Armstat, foreign trade turnover between Armenia and Uzbekistan increased 2.1-fold in the first seven months of 2026, reaching $46.1 million.
