YEREVAN, January 29. /ARКА/. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with representatives of Wizz Air Group on Wednesday to discuss the development of new routes, the possibility of increasing flights, and prospects for cooperation with the Tourism Committee, according to the ministry's press service.

The discussion also covered the airline's operations in the Armenian market and ways to boost tourist flows to the country.

Papoyan emphasized the need to develop and present a roadmap of proposals and actions, based on which decisions will be made regarding priorities.

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has been cooperating with Armenia since 2020, operating flights from Yerevan to destinations such as Vienna, Larnaca, Milan, Rome, Venice, Abu Dhabi, Sofia, Dortmund, Prague, and Budapest.
