Armenia attaches importance to development of small aviation, Transport, Communication and Information Technology Minister Hakob Arshakyan said yesterday at a news conference. In his words, already three companies have received licenses for operating flights, one of which provides air medical services.

YEREVAN, April 18. /ARKA/. Armenia attaches importance to development of small aviation, Transport, Communication and Information Technology Minister Hakob Arshakyan said yesterday at a news conference.
In his words, already three companies have received licenses for operating flights, one of which provides air medical services.
“Progress is seen in this area and we attach great significance to development of small aviation in the country,” he said.
As a positive aspect, the minister pointed out the repairs that are under way in Armenia’s airports. In particular, he said, Zvartnots Airport’s runway is being repaired now, and infrastructures are being expanded in both Zvartnots Airport and Shirak Airport.
Hakob Arshakyan also said that the recovery of Kapan Airport is already launched. -0---
