Third special flight form China delivers medical equipment to Armenia

A plane from Beijing, China, operated the third special flight to Armenia on May 14 bringing a fresh batch of essential personal protective equipment purchased by the United Nations World Food Program for the Armenian Ministry of Health to equip Armenian medical facilities fighting COVID-19.
YEREVAN, May 15. /ARKA/. A plane from Beijing, China, operated the third special flight to Armenia on May 14 bringing a fresh batch of essential personal protective equipment purchased by the United Nations World Food Program for the Armenian Ministry of Health to equip Armenian medical facilities fighting COVID-19, Tigran Avinyan, deputy prime minister and head of a task force set up to enforce the state of emergency, said in a Facebook post.
The special flight has brought medical face masks, uniforms, gloves and goggles, medicines and laboratory raw materials for the manufacture of tests for the diagnosis of coronavirus, equipment and means for disinfection, monitors, clean air equipment, ventilators and oxygen devices.
The bulk was bought by the government of Armenia.
The aircraft brought also medical supplies and equipment donated to Armenia by the EU and other international donors through the UN World Food Organization, as well as by China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Mayor's Offices of Beijing and Xian, as well as Armenian and Chinese benefactors. The air transportation was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.-0-
