Armenia’s national rolled down to the sixth rank in the World Team Chess Championship after a big defeat 3:1 from the German national.

YEREVAN, December 3. /ARKA/. Armenia’s national rolled down to the sixth rank in the World Team Chess Championship after a big defeat 3:1 from the German national.
In the sixth round, Sergey Movsisyan was humbled by Daniel Fridman and Vladimir Hakobyan by Arkadij Naiditsch.
Georg Meier vs Levon Aronyan and David Baramidze vs Gabriel Sargsyan competition ended in a draw.
Ukrainians, with their ten points scored in six rounds, are topping the ranking now.
Russians, with nine points, are second, while Dutch and Chinese teams, with eight points each, share third and fourth positions.
The U.S., Armenian and German teams have six points each gained in six rounds, Azerbaijani grandmasters has scored five points and Turks two. Egyptian chess players have reached the seventh round with no points. --0---
