Mkhitaryan hopes new head coach Varuzhan Sukiasyan's work would be fruitful and efficient

Borussia Dortmund's midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has been named Player of the Year in Armenia for the fifth time in succession – and the sixth time in total, said he hoped that new head coach of Armenia's national soccer team Varuzhan Sukiasyan's work would be fruitful and efficient.
YEREVAN, December 29. /ARKA/. Borussia Dortmund's midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has been named Player of the Year in Armenia for the fifth time in succession – and the sixth time in total, said he hoped that new head coach of Armenia's national soccer team Varuzhan Sukiasyan's work would be fruitful and efficient.
"I' worked with Varuzhan Sukiasyan in 2007-2008, when he coached Armenia's youth team. I hope that our work in the national team will be fruitful and effective. We have to help him, and he, in turn, will help us - the players,"-said Mkhitaryan in an interview with Novosti-Armenia.
Mkhitaryan said it was too early to talk about the chances of the Armenian national team to reach the final stage of the 2018 World Cup to be held in Russia.
"In the first place w e should think about the upcoming games and when we start to win points, then we will think about the trip to Russia," said Mkhitaryan.
Varuzhan Sukiasyan, 59, was appointed head coach in early December by the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Armenia. He replaced Sargis Hovsepyan. -0-
