Aegean Airlines resumes flights to Armenia and offers discounts

YEREVAN, January 8. /ARKA/. Aegean Airlines, the flag carrier airline of Greece, said it is resuming flights to Armenian capital Yerevan and provides discounts.
The airline plans to operate flights from March 31 to October 30, 2021, saying tickets for one-way flight from Yerevan to Athens for March 31st are available at the discount price of 77.54 euros (37 euros per ticket and 40.54 euros - airport taxes). The price of tickets for further dates is 88,54 euros. Discounts on air tickets to Yerevan will be valid until January 11.
A Greek publications- greekcitytimes.com- called on Greek citizens to take advantage of the promotion campaign and support Armenia, which suffered, including economically, because of the war in Artsakh launched by Azerbaijan with the support of Turkey and f Syrian mercenaries.
It said direct flights between Greece and Armenia, run by Aegean Airlines and Wizz Air, were suspended due to the Turkish-sponsored invasion of Artsakh by the Azerbaijani military and Syrian mercenaries.
“After the signing of the ceasefire agreement on November 9, the situation in Armenia is gradually returning to normal. If you are looking for an international holiday outside of Greece, why not consider Armenia and support the economy and people that have been devastated following the Turkish-sponsored invasion of Artsakh,” the newspaper says. -0-
