Armenia and India discuss visa simplification

YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. The issue of simplifying the visa regime between Armenia and India was discussed during a meeting between the Indian Ambassador to Armenia, Nilakshi Saha Singh, and the Head of the Armenian Tourism Committee, Lusine Gevorgyan.
According to the committee's press service, the two exchanged information on current statistics, visa policies, and flights.
They also discussed the current level of cooperation between Armenia and India in the tourism sector and the potential for further expansion. Additionally, they talked about the organization of Indian Cinema Days at the Moscow Cinema in Yerevan.
A new project is planned: an introductory online meeting between representatives of travel companies from both countries. In the future, mutual familiarization visits, including bloggers from both countries, are also planned.
It was previously reported that starting from February 21, Armenian Airlines will launch a direct flight between Yerevan and Delhi.
