Armenia named as the Best Foreign MICE Destination

Armenia was recognized as the "Best Foreign Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Events (MICE) Destination" in 2017 by BBT (Buying Business Travel) Russia & CIS Award ceremony - an international award for outstanding achievements in the field of business tourism.
YEREVAN, December 8. /ARKA/. Armenia was recognized as the "Best Foreign Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Events (MICE) Destination" in 2017 by BBT (Buying Business Travel) Russia & CIS Award ceremony - an international award for outstanding achievements in the field of business tourism.
The award ceremony was held in Moscow on December 7. Apart from Armenia, also Georgia, Italy, France and the United Arab Emirates were nominated in this category. The news was announced by Armenian embassy in Russia, which assisted the country to showcase the project called "OK Armenia". The winners were determined by a professional jury.
The ‘OK Armenia" was first presented at the Armenian embassy in Russia in April 2017. Its goal is to present the tourism opportunities of Armenia, to promote the strengthening of ties between key players in Armenian and Russian tourism industries.
The contest has been held for more than 20 years among TMS, MICE agencies, airlines, hotels, payment systems, Internet services and other market participants. -0-
