Yerevan to host ITF Armenia International Tourism Exhibition

YEREVAN, February 25. /ARKA/. ITF Armenia 2025 international tourism fair and a business forum will be held on April 4-6 at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan.
The Head of the Tourism Committee Lusine Gevorgyan said at a press conference on Tuesday that all tour operators, hotels, air carriers will be represented at the exhibition.
'It is a very important platform for international cooperation and presentation of tourism products to partners,' she said.
“The results of last year's marketing products will also be presented. In particular, the content prepared jointly with BBC, Euronews and other international media will be shown on big screens,” Gevorgyan noted.
Speaking about the digitalization of the tourism sector, Gevorgyan said the exhibition will be a good opportunity to introduce Armenia's innovative products and startups to foreign partners.
The chairman of the Armenian Tourism Federation Mehak Apresyan added that the exhibition will become an annual event together with business forum.
“The exhibition will be organized in cooperation with international partners, the World Tourism Organization. There is already great interest from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China, Gulf countries. There is even a confirmation of participation from Maldives,” Apresyan noted.
More than 2.2 million tourists visited Armenia in 2024, which is 4.7% less than a year earlier. Most tourists came from Russia (937,823 people or 42.5% of the total number, a 17.5% decline), Georgia (266,048 people or 12.1%, 5.3% growth) and Iran (176,453 people or 8%, 18% growth).-0-
