The number of Armenia's permanent population, according to current records based on the 2022 census, as of April 1, 2024, was 3,039,700 against 2,941,500 as of the same period in 2023. This is evidenced by the data of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic.

Negative net migration rate in Armenia drops to 9,857 people

In the first 9 months of 2019 the negative net migration rate in Armenia dropped to 9,857 people from 15,555 people in the same period of 2018, Deputy Head of the Migration Service Irina Davtyan said at a press conference on Wednesday.
