Yerevan Zoo area to be expanded to 34 hectares
The Yerevan Zoo will be expanded from the current 29 hectares to 34, the head of the Nature Protection Department at Yerevan Municipality Sirarpi Haykazyan said at a working meeting on Monday, presenting a 3D version of the park expansion project.

Armenian producers of matsun (matzoon, a fermented milk product) have been banned from exporting the product to Russia through Georgia since 2021 October because of the products name, which Georgian authorities say resemble the word ‘matzoni,” the name of the similar product produced in Georgia which has been registered as a geographical indication.
