Chicken imports from Poland and Germany no longer banned in Armenia

Armenia's State Food Safety Agency has lifted the ban from import of chicken from Polant and Germany, the agency's press office reported on Wednesday.

YEREVAN, October 25. /ARKA/. Armenia's State Food Safety Agency has lifted the ban from import of chicken from Polant and Germany, the agency's press office reported on Wednesday.
The decision to lift the ban has been prompted by the official information of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), which stated that 'high-virulence bird flu' poses no threat to these countries.
Import of all types of meat as well as feathers, eggs etc, is no longer prohibited.
The ban was imposed on February 9, 2017. --0---
