YEREVAN, September 27. /ARKA/. Poland would like to deepen economic relations with Armenia, Poland’s deputy foreign minister Bartosz Cihotsky said on Thursday in Yerevan.

"We are not happy with the current state of economic relations. We are sure that together we can do more.  The Polish economy is growing very dynamically and we are able to import Armenia-made goods and also invest more here," said Cihotsky.

He said  the Polish side wants to understand in which spheres and on what conditions Polish companies may cooperate with their Armenian peers. "For example, agriculture is very strong in Poland, including through access to international financial markets, and in this sense we are competing with the most powerful producers in the Eurasian Economic Union," said Cihotsky.

According to him, there are also great prospects for boosting cooperation in such areas as defense and public administration. "Armenian passports and identification cards are produced in Poland. We are interested in continuing this cooperation and in winning a new tender for these services," added Cihotsky. -0-
