Sky Net airline is set to start operating domestic flights in Armenia, head of the airline, Grigor Vardanyan, said today.
YEREVAN, November 25. / ARKA /. Sky Net airline is set to start operating domestic flights in Armenia, head of the airline, Grigor Vardanyan, said today.
Speaking to journalists he said the company is the first in Armenia to offer air tourism, business and medical services.
He said the company made the first flight across Armenia on November 16 in preparation for official presentation. He added that Sky Net also plans to fly passengers to Tbilisi and Batumi in neighboring Georgia and Tabriz in Iran.
The airline runs so far only one Jet Stream -32 aircraft and once it has more aircraft it will shift from charter to regular flights to neighboring countries, Vardanyan said.
Vardanyan said also that Sky Net has all the necessary documents and the permission of the Chief Civil Aviation Department to operate flights. He said the cost of one hour operation of the plane is $1,680. -0-
