YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. SkyNet air company will start offering air tourism, business and medical aviation services for the first time in Armenia, the company’s press office reported.

As part of presentation of its forthcoming operations SkyNet is planning to carry out its first flight over Armenia this Saturday.

Director of the air company Grigor Vardanyan told ARKA SkyNet is planning to carry out also charter flights to Tbilisi and Tebriz (Iran), as well as in the territory of Armenia.

Vardanyan expressed hope the existing demand for flights to Tbilisi and Tebriz will be continuous.

SkyNet director said the company has only one plane right now, but will be able to turn to regular flights after expanding its fleet.

Vardanyan also said the company has all the required documents and the license for flight operations from Armenia’s chief aviation department.

SkyNet is offering charter flights 1,200 kilometres away (2,400km if refuelled) within Armenia and beyond. The company is operating an 18-seat Jet Steram-32.

A flight hour outside Armenia costs 1,680 US dollars (plus VAT and additional charges - inside Armenia).

Armenia’s chief civil aviation department confirmed SkyNet has a license for flight operations. –0—
