A tender for the construction of the Noragavit overpass has been announced in Yerevan.
YEREVAN, March 2. /ARKA/. A tender for the construction of the Noragavit overpass has been announced in Yerevan. The preliminary cost of the project is estimated at 1.5 billion drams, announced Anetta Babayan, adviser to the mayor.
"The opening of tender packages is scheduled for March 30. For this program, the tender has been announced without preliminary funding; the technical supervision package is in the hands of the Mayor's Procurement Department," Babayan noted at a working meeting at the Mayor's Office on Monday.
According to her, after the tender is held and the actual cost of the project is determined, the relevant package will be submitted to the government for funding.
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan stated that the project aims to address the transportation problem at the junction connecting the Artashat Highway of the M2 North-South Interstate Highway with 1st Street in Noragavit. He stated that the project's implementation is dependent on securing funding.
Babayan added that the mayor's office has conducted feasibility studies and prepared an investment program. ($1 = 377 drams).
