Greek foreign minister to visit Armenia this year

Greek foreign minister Dimitris Droutsas told his Armenian counterpart, Edward Nalbandian, in New York that he intends to visit Armenia later this year, according to Armenian foreign ministry.
YEREVAN, September 24, /ARKA/. Greek foreign minister Dimitris Droutsas told his Armenian counterpart, Edward Nalbandian, in New York that he intends to visit Armenia later this year, according to Armenian foreign ministry.
It said the two men met on the sidelines of UN General Assembly session. The Armenian ministry said they discussed then steps to intensify cooperation between the two friendly nations. The Greek foreign minister was said to have informed Nalbandian about the efforts of his government to overcome the financial crisis.
They also had an exchange of opinions of a set of regional issues. Armenian foreign minister participated also in a reception held by U.S. president Barack Obama for foreign ministers who are in New York to attend the 65-th session of the UN General Assembly. -0-
