YEREVAN, August 26. /ARKA/. Direct flights between Sofia and Yerevan will resume on November 7, the Bulgarian Embassy in Armenia announced on Facebook.

The flights will be operated by Bulgarian airline GullivAir twice a week – on Thursdays and Saturdays.

According to the announcement, the flights are scheduled from November 7, 2026, to March 25, 2027. If the route is successful, the airline intends to continue flights to Yerevan during the summer season.

In addition, during the winter season, GullivAir will operate direct flights from Sofia to Male, Phuket, and Bangkok. Passengers from Armenia will be able to travel to these cities via Sofia on a single ticket after the necessary technical and operational coordination is completed.

Opportunities for cooperation to expand Armenia's export potential and facilitate the entry of Armenian products into European markets, particularly the Netherlands and the Benelux countries, were discussed at a meeting between Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Anushik Avetyan and a delegation from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (CBI).
