YEREVAN, January 23. /ARКА/. Until now, Armenia has not expressed any intention to leave the CSTO, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president.
"The CSTO is an independent, mature, and effective organization that has proven its relevance. Work within it continues," Peskov stated at a press briefing.
He added that in their last phone conversation on January 17, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan did not discuss the issue of unfreezing Armenia's participation in the CSTO.
Earlier, Armenia's Foreign Intelligence Service, in its annual report, stated that it is unlikely the suspension of Armenia's participation in the CSTO will be lifted in 2025.
