Armenia, Vietnam plan to launch direct flights between countries
YEREVAN, August 12. /ARKA/. Armenian Ambassador to Vietnam, Suren Baghdasaryan, met with Vietnam's Foreign Minister, Bui Thanh Son, to discuss the possibility of establishing direct flights between the two countries, the Armenian Embassy in Vietnam announced on Monday.
The meeting covered a range of topics aimed at expanding bilateral relations in economic, political, educational, and cultural spheres. Both parties emphasized the importance of high-level political visits for the dynamic development of bilateral ties.
Baghdasaryan also presented Armenia's approach to regional cooperation within the framework of the Crossroads of Peace project and highlighted the importance of strengthening connections with Vietnam in both international and regional formats.
The discussions also included issues related to visa liberalization for citizens of both countries, promoting tourism, and organizing direct flights between Armenia and Vietnam.
