YEREVAN, May 23./ARKA/. Armenian parliament approved the government’s program for 2013-2017, ARKA correspondent reported Thursday.

Some 76 deputies of the coalitional parties, the Republican party and Orinats Yerkir,  supported the program, and 41 deputies voted against it.
The new Cabinet of Armenia was assembled on May 8 after the presidential election of 18 February.

The government submitted its 2013-2017 program to the National Assembly on May 20.

The program mainly embraces five principal courses: safe and prosperous Armenia, creation of new jobs with a fair salary, free and fair Armenia, human capital and institutional development.

The current program has the same targets as the previous one, particularly, related to reaching the same economic growth, doubling the minimal wages, reducing poverty by 8-10%, creating 100,000 new jobs, ensuring  growth in pensions  and increasing the share of taxes in GDP structure. —0-
